In October 2015, we completed the study "Environmental management of soil and water resources in the sub-basin of Lake Koronia" assigned to us by the Management Body of Lakes Koronia – Volvi.

The study includes:

1. Allocation of agricultural crops in Koroneia sub-basin, based on satellite images
2. Evaluation of the temporal changes in crops between 2006 and 2012.
3. Soil estimation and soil maps production.
4. Calculations of annual inputs of water, nitrogen and phosphorus in Lake Koronia from rivers and streams flowing into the lake and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative characteristics.
5. Calculation of current irrigation needs and their influence on the water deficit of the lake.
6. Development and evaluation of 3 alternative scenarios for land use and distribution of crops in order to reduce the water deficit.
